Valmet 565 Vintage Tractor

Large 1:16 scale model of the Valmet 565 vintage tractor, as produced between 1964 and 1968.

Finnish company Valmet put their firs tractor into production in 1951, having excellent cold starting ability - a requirement in Finnish winters! In 1973 Valmet entered into partnership with Volvo to produce tractors under the Volvo BM Valmet brand. Government owned until 1993, Valmet was incorporated with Sisu who phased out the Valmet name, superseding it with already familiar Valtra brand.
