The Musical Ride by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police was first established 1887 to allow the RCMP to display their riding ability. Based at RCMP Rockcliffe, Ontario facility, the troop of 32 riders and horses travel around Canada and select international venues to perform intricate figures and cavalry drills, all choreographed to music in ceremonial dress.
