This highly detailed 1:25 scale model die-cast metal replica contains over 200 intricate parts, and each version features free rolling, individually linked metal tracks and authentic markings. Removable crank handles operate the functional cable rigging, allowing full positioning of the tools.
The Schield Bantam Company of Waverley, Iowa produced over 12,000 Bantam construction models over a 10-year period from 1949-1959. The eye catching flame orange paint and defiant Bantam Rooster logo were ever-present on their cranes, shovels and backhoes. Very affordable, easily maintained and versatile, the Bantam quickly became a favourite machine with contractors, municipalities, and quarry and pit operators. It's fast change attachments allowed for many jobs to be completed by just one machine.
