Case Model DC tractors, first appeared in 1939 and production ended in 1955. By far, the most popular of the DC series tractors was the DC-3, 14,016 tractors were built. In 1944 a DC-3 tractor on rubber sold for S1,270 and on steel S1,040.

Numerous options were available for the DC tractors which adapted them to varying crops and farming practices. The growing demand for modern farm equipment led Case to develop the Eagle Hitch, which was an option on the DC tractors in 1952.

Other features available on the DC tractor in the 1950's included double-disk rear wheel brakes and the new Case Comfort Seat.
