International harvester announced its 180 hp TD24 crawler tractor in 1947. At the time, it was the world's largest crawler tractor, taking the title away from the previous largest, the Allis Chalmers HD-19 crawler. The TD-24 earned it's reputation as a heavy duty bulldozer, perfect for any big job - pipe laying, heavy construction, mining and logging.
